Even as the CES is underway in Las Vegas, Apple, which is not attending the event unveiled the Apple Mac app store yesterday. The store has more than 1000 apps as of now.
This goes to show that Apple is trying to align the Mac to its mobile devices in terms of user experience and is also potentially looking at a new source of revenue.
