Four Reasons why Netflix chose Amazon’s Cloud as Computing Platform
Nice article, describing how Netflix is using Amazon's cloud computing for the content delivery. They have built and deployed search engines in AWS, recommendation systems, A|B testing infrastructure, streaming servers, encoding software, huge data stores, caching architectures, various SQL and NoSQL solutions, all in 2010 for the first time.
