To expand on the business Facebook connection; I noticed in the Pottery Barn catalog that they are running a contest to entice people to upload photos of parts of their home for a chance to win a $250 gift card to Pottery Barn. So Pottery Barn is getting people to their Facebook site, upload photos and interact on their site to also get detail on user’s habits, preferences and lives; all for the chance to get $250 worth of essentially “store credit”.
