Yesterday in class we saw Apple's vision for the future of real-time translation/interpretation. And today Google's translator came up as a possible value-add to the publishing sector where text has to be rendered in many other languages.
But there's another force that may beat these advances to the punch: People around the world are converging around one language -- English -- with incredible zeal and dedication.
