The Future of Shopping

Currently there are various way to see products on your own person. Most include using a camera - take for example one the iphone 4G and you can see how products will actually look on your person. The only catch is the iphone screen is only so big.


With the advent of this technology one has to imagine the future of shopping to look something like this:

This will change the industry in many ways and could impact things like store inventory, targeted sales/discounts as well as customized/tailored clothing.

    A virtual dressing room. Wouldn't it be neat if we could take it a step further and pull up our current wardrobe to see what pieces mixed and matched would look like?

    Neat. A thing that caught my eye was the swiper that the cashier used to swipe the CC. That device I saw at the Apple Store recently while purchasing an iPad as gift. I am not sure if it's a new technology, but I thought that was quite an express shopping experience.
